You technically cannot correct the wrong doings of others because everyone has a free will to make a choice. If someone does something wrong and is punished there is no guarantee they will never do that particular wrong thing again. Punishment and restrictions can only help to deter others from doing the wrong because the wrong is already done and can’t be taken back or forgotten.
