25miles = 5hrs

To determine how far they can run in 1 hour, then;

Divide both expressions

25/x = 5/1

5x = 25

X = 5miles

Hence the runner can run 5miles in an hour

Similarly if

25miles =1hr

1mile = y

25y = 1

Y = 1/25

Y = 0.04hrs
