Explanation:

Total choices = 9, vowels = I, E, I = 3

Hence, P (vowel) = 3/9 = 1/3

Since you do not replace it, new total = 8 and number of Ts = 2

Hence, P (T) = 2/8 = 1/4

As these events are dependent and T is picked after vowel,

total probability = 1/3 x 1/4 = 1/12
