3 Possible Answers:

-38*C

-26*C

-57*C

x = temperature

< = less than

-15*C = the amount the temperature was less than

3 Possible Outcomes:

Because the temperature is less than -15*C, it can literally be any number that is farther down the number line. Because it’s a negative number, anything like -14, -13, -12, and so on would actually have a greater value (think of it as in being less in debtm or in this case, less below zero). Instead, you’ll do any number like -16, -17, -18, and so on. You can even do a decimal number, like -19.5. I hope this makes sense to you!
