Explanation:

0.75(0.25x+8)-(0.5x+2)=0.375(4-x)-0.25x

0.1875x+6-0.5x-2=1.5-0.375x-0.25x

0.1875x-0.5x+0.375x+0.25x=1.5-6+2

0.3125x=-2.5

x=-2.5/0.3125

x= -8
