From the diagram, LM = MN

Hence;

3x - 3 = x + 7

Find x

Add 3 to both sides

3x - 3 + 3 = x + 7 + 3

3x = x + 10

3x - x = 10

2x = 10

x = 10/2

x = 5

LM= 3x - 3

LM = 3(5) - 3

LM = 12

Since LM = MN, then MN = 12

Since all the sides of the rhombus are equal then;

Perimeter of the rhombus = LM + MN + NO + OL

Perimeter of the rhombus = 12 + 12 +1 2 + 12

Perimeter of the rhombus = 48units
