What is the effect on the graph of the function f(x) = [xl when f(x) is changed to f(x + 9)?

Answer:

when y or f(x) equals x then it's a straight line at the origin. if f(x+9) = |x|

f(x) = |x+9|

if you set that equal to zero then X= -9

so shifting over to the left is the right choice
