-x + 3y = -12 in slope intercept form. please show step by step. thanks :)

Answer:

slope intercept form is y=mx+b

add x to both sides : 3y=x-12

divide by 3 on both sides : y=(1/3)x-4

nnnd i put both equations in desmos n they r the same :)

Explanation:

add x to get x to the other side

3y= x-12

divide by 3 on both sides to get y by itself y= x/3 - 4 is simplest form
