a) CA + ED = 74

Explanation:

Solution

Here the two circles R and D are congruent and thus their radius will be equal

Hence, RA (radius of circle R ) = DE (radius of circle D)

Hence, CA + ED = CA + 42

Also, RC = CD

CA = CE + RA = 32

So, CA + EO = 32 +42 = 74
