King Tutankhamun's tomb was found near ancient Thebes. Paintings, a chariot, throwing sticks, a burial mask, a sun scarab pendant, the head of a leopard, a senet game, and canopic jars were found in the tomb.

Answer:

King Tutankhamun's tomb was found in the Valley of the Kings. The tomb had never been plundered and contained incredible riches untouched since they had been left. The body of the King was encased in three coffins which fit inside one another. The coffin, made of solid gold, contained the mummified body of King Tut. Among the riches found in the tomb–golden shrines, jewelry, statues, a chariot, weapons, clothing–the perfectly preserved mummy was the most valuable, as it was the first one ever to be discovered.
