The diameter of a circle is 4 cm. Find its area to the nearest tenth.

Answer:

10 cm²

Explanation:

The radius of this circle is half the diameter hence is 2cm

Area of a circle is pi multiplied by the squared radius, i.e

Area = πr²

= 22/7 × 2 × 2

= 12.57 cm²

The nearest 10th is 10
