Erm… yes, of course. Why on earth “shouldn’t” they? If they are interested. Same for girls. If a kid isn’t interested in cooking at all, then that’s their loss. Their sex is irrelevant.
For the same reason girls should help in the kitchen: it’s a good life skill, and if you’re any good it can be very fun.
It can also be a nice skill when trying to attract a partner. Most women (and men) I know like it when someone gives them tasty home-made food.
Personally, I believe that all kids should learn to cook basic stuff: Pasta, an omelette, some rice, a piece of meat, a soufflé and a fresh Bernaise sauce (nah, just kidding). Because there really isn’t an excuse to not being able to cook at all.
In our family, even when our son was little, I cooked. My wife cooked. Whoever had time cooked. And we actually cooked. Not buy pre-packaged meals and heat them up in the microwave. No. We used pots and pans and the oven and so on. Sometimes dinner took (and takes) two hours to prepare. Sometimes (if something is slow-cooking, like a Barbacoa), maybe four or six hours. So he grew up with it being perfectly normal that men cook as well as women (I’m not claiming I cook better than my wife. We cook differently and have our preferences with regards to regional cuisine). Once he had a friend over and this little guy watched me as I chopped vegetables and prepared dinner. He then asked why I’m cooking, and I told him because I enjoy cooking. And then he asked “yeah, but why are YOU cooking, and not your wife?” This kind of astonished me. I explained that men and women are perfectly able to cook, if they have learnt how. And that cooking needn’t have anything to do with your sex.
Boys SHOULD. Help in the kitchen.
It is simply part of male toxicity to argue a man isn’t manly if he helps chores a female is supposed to do. As a matter of fact roles should be changed. A woman doesn’t own anything to anyone.
Boy’s should be included in kitchen duties.
Men need to learn to be responsible not expect a woman to do everything for them forever.
If a boy decides to, he shall not be judged or mocked. Men aren’t less of manly if because of simple task makings.
We need to break that barrier stopping us from equality.
Females don’t own anything to any men. Men should be expected to do the same tasks women are expected to do. Both men and women need to learn responsibility and basic tasks since young age.
I believe a man is even more masculine if he is responsible and not a male chauvinist.

Females are humans we are all people. Our gender, sexuality or appearance DON’T define us.
Reasons why gender equality is important are such as results in better healthcare, better business, leads to better racial equality and legal protections, reduces poverty and most important leads to peace.
