Given:

The length of diagonals of a rhombus are 12 ft and 5 ft.

To find:

The area of the rhombus

Solution:

Area of a rhombus is:

Area=(d_1d_2)/(2)

Where,
d_1,d_2 are two diagonals of the rhombus.

It is given that the length of diagonals of the rhombus are 12 ft and 5 ft.

Putting
d_1=12,d_2=5, we get

Area=(12* 5)/(2)

Area=(60)/(2)

Area=30

Therefore, the area of the rhombus is 30 square ft.
