•A is correct because if you drew the linear line for function A, it would intercept with B on point (1,4) which is also a point for function B.
•B is incorrect because y-intercept in A=1 and B=3, that’s not in common
•C is incorrect because the slope in A=1/3 and B=1, that’s not in common
•D is incorrect because because x-intercept for A=-3 and for B= less than 1
