Ratio remains same

  • let that be x

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail (1)/(50)=(x)/(550)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=550/50

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=11in

Answer:

okay easy peasy..

first we know that 1 inch represent 50 miles

therefore 550 miles is represented by

= 550/50 = 11 inch

so with this we know that on map the cities are 11 inch apart..
