Dunder Mifflin recently expanded its supply to include not just paper, but also copiers (much to Pam’s delight). The expansion was a smashing success, with the copier production process producing defective parts only 0.8% of the time during the first year. Michael Scott believes that updates to the production technology have improved this process. He randomly selects 1000 parts and finds 6 defective parts. Do these data provide evidence at the 5% level that the process has improved?
