It would depend on the weight of the test and the class assessment.

Assuming for instance that the class assessment contributes 40% to your final grade then your test would contribute 60% to the final grade.

You can then calculate the final grade like:

= (weights of class assessment * percentage score in assessment) + (weight of test * percentage pass in test)

Assuming the F* you got was 30%:

= (40% * 30%) + (60% * 100%)

= 72%

You get a C.
