Arithmetic = uses addition
Geometric = uses multiplication
60 - 36 = 24
60 + 24 = 84 (does not give you 100)
Proving this is not Arithmetic
60/36 = 5/3 or 1.66666667
100/60 = 5/3 or 1.66666667
Solution: geometric
Common ratio = 5/3
