Answer: 23x3y

step 1 ((2 • (x2)) • (y3)) • 22xy(-2)

step 2 (2x2 • y3) • 22xy(-2)

step 3 3.1 x2 multiplied by x1 = x(2 + 1) = x3

3.2 y3 multiplied by y(-2) = y(3 + (-2)) = y1 = y

Multiplying exponents:

3.3 21 multiplied by 22 = 2(1 + 2) = 23
