Use +,-,x, ÷ and parentheses to connect the numbers 1,3,5 and 7 such that the result is 24.

(3-1) x (7+5) because 3-1= 2 and 7+5 is 12 then you multiply 2x12 and then you get 24. You should get smart

Answer: (3-1)×(7+5)

Explanation:

There are mainly several ways to get 24

- 2×12

- 3×8

- 4×6

- add all of them together

- complicated ones can include large numbers minus another large number

Use try-check-revise, to find the way that fits 24

For this question, we used 2×12, which results in (3-1)×(7+5)
