All of these can get to a conclusion, but color makes no sense at all. If this is just based on no specific circumstance(which it is) then it’s D

I mean, it is conspicuous; what else should I explain? Can you really learn much from asking someone's favorite color? I'm going to guess that it's actually an important interview so asking someone what their favorite color is, I could say is irrelevant.
