Explanation:

$A = (90 \degree)/(360 \degree) * \pi ({8})^(2) \\ \\ A = (1)/(4) * \pi * 64 \\ \\ A = (1)/(4) * 64\pi \\ \\ A =16\pi \: {cm}^(2)$
