The formula for arc length when our central angle is in degrees =

2πr(θ/360)

θ = 86°

Diameter = 6cm Radius = Diameter /2

Radius = 6cm/2 = 3cm

Hence,

Intercepted arc length = 2 × π × 3 (86/360)

= 2 × π × 3 × 0.2388888889

= 4.5029494701 cm

Approximately = 4.5 cm

Option B is the correct answer
