Read another paragraph and graphic from the text “Overfishing the Oceans.” Then answer the question.

Overfishing is a problem that affects a whole ecosystem. A healthy ocean has a balance of different species. One problem with overfishing is that it takes away many of the top predator fish and disrupts this balance. Overfishing can also disrupt the marine ecosystem in other ways.

Based on the information in the paragraph and graphic, what might be a result of a decrease in tuna populations?
A. Sharks may have difficulty finding food.
B. A rise in squid and mackerel populations.
C. The balance in the food web would be disrupted.
D. All of the above are potential results of a decrease in tuna populations.

D- all of the above because sharks eat tuna, tuna eats mackerel and squid meaning if there’s nothing to eat them the population will just grow. And ofc the balance of the food web will be wack so all of the above
