If v = -5, what does 4v - 3 equal? (Explain aswell)

4(-5) -3= -20-3=-20+3=-17

Answer: Answer= -23

Step-by-step explanation: plug in -5 for v. THen multiply 4 and -5 which should give you -20. then subtract -3 from -20 which will give you -23. :)
