Hypotenuse = 4

Adjacent = x

Apply trigonometric function, CAH:

Cos 30 = Adj/Hyp

Cos 30 = x/4

4 × Cos 30 = x

4 × √3/2 = x (cos 30 = √3/2)

2√3 = x

x = 2√3
