If a point at (4, 5) is translated 9 units left, what will the coordinates of the point be after the translation?

Explanation:

So first off, if you are going left by 9. That means you will going back (aka negative 9 points).Also, since you are going left, only the x axis changes because left or right is what changes here.

Once you count back 9 spaces, or do 4-9, you will end up with negative 5(x value)

Your ending product is (-5,5)
