First you have to know how much 22% equals

12.5(0.22)=2.75\\

Now that we know how much it is equivalent to, we just have to add the equivalence to the initial value

12.5+2.75=15.25

Answer:

$15.25

Explanation:

100% = 12.5

1% = 0.125

22% = 2.75
