Given:

The radius of the cylinder = 2 cm

Height of the cylinder = 5 cm

To find:

The volume of the cylinder.

Solution:

We know that, the volume of a cylinder is:

V=\pi r^2h

Where, r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder.

Putting
r=2,h=5 in the above formula, we get

V=\pi (2)^2(5)

V=\pi (4)(5)

V=20\pi

Therefore, the volume of the cylinder is
20\pi cubic cm and its approximate value is 62.832 cubic cm.
