10x + 30 = 180

10x = 150

x = 15

(3y - 18) = (8x + 12) x = 15

(3y - 18) = (8(15) + 12)

(3y - 18) = (120 + 12)

(3y - 18) = 132

3y = 132 + 18

y = 50
