Volume of Cylinder =


500 {cm}^(3) = \pi {r}^(2) h

given d = 18

r = 1/2 x d = 9cm,


\pi( {9}^(2) )h = 500 \\ 81\pi \: h = 500 \\ h = (500)/(81\pi) cm

I will leave the answer in terms of Pi as I am not sure how you want to leave your answer as.
