Using Newton's Second Law:

F = ma

F = Net Force (60 N)
m = mass (30 kg)
a = acceleration (m/s²)

Solve for acceleration given the other values.


60 = 30a\\\\a = (60)/(30) = \boxed{2 (m)/(s^2)}

If the net force increases (while the mass is held constant), the acceleration will INCREASE.

If the mass of the object increases (while the net force is held constant), then the acceleration will DECREASE.
