Let the fraction be 1/2

Now,

1/2

=> 1 + 20% of 1 => 1 + 20/100 => 6/5

=> 2 + 50% of 2 => 2 + 1/2 * 2 => 2 + 1 => 3

so,

6/5/3 => 2/5

Now,

1/2 - 2/5 => 1/10

Now,

1/10/1/2 * 100%

= 1/5 * 100%

= 20%
