There are twenty books on a shelf. Ten of them are science books, two are social studies, seven are math, and one is reading. What is the probability of choosing a science book, replacing it and then choosing another science book?

Answer: 1/4

Step-by-step explanation: Probability is favorable outcomes/ all outcomes, to first choose a science book, the probability is 10/20, or one-half, and then to pick one again, is also 1/2, so you multiply them together to find the probability of both happening and you get 1/4!
