The area (A) of a triangle is calculated as

A =
(1)/(2) bh ( b is the base and h the perpendicular height )

Here A = 10.98 and h = 3.6 , then


(1)/(2) × b × 3.6 = 10.98

1.8b = 10.98 ( divide both sides by 1.8 )

b = 6.1
