Based on the formula for triangles, A = bh/2, I did that and got 24.5 but since there are 2 of the triangles I did 24.5 x 2 = 49. I know that the line in the triangle means they are congruent. But are they congruent to show that the base and height is 7 x 7 for the one that the line is crossing of does it show that itÅ› 7x7 for both triangles?

I found the area of the square and subtracted that from the area of the triangles to get 147.

My area of the triangles is 49ft^2
My area of the pebbles is 147ft^2.
Is this correct?
