Answer: I am not so sure, but It should go like this:

When you have (x-2)(2x+3) that means that is Multiplication in question so it would be (x-2)*(2x+3)+(x-4)*(x-2)

Explanation:

g = (x - 2)(2x + 3) + (x - 4)(x - 2) \\ = 2 {x}^(2) + 3x - 4x - 6 + (x - 4)(x - 2) \\ = 2 {x}^(2) + 3x - 4x - 6+( {x}^(2) - 2x - 4x + 8) \\ =2 {x}^(2) - x - 6 + {x}^(2) - 6x + 8 \\ = 3 {x}^(2) -7x + 2
