Dear Senator Riley,

I read in the local newspaper that you voted against Senate Bill 487, which would grant greater freedom of the press and thus greater government transparency. I read your arguments, and I believe that you made one or two thoughtful points. However, I do not believe you are representing the will of the voters. A recent poll showed that 65% of the voters in your district were in favor of Senate Bill 487. When this issue comes up again, please remember that you do not have the people on your side.

Sincerely,

William Blixton Merryweather

Step-by-step explanation:

It's letter B because, William known that the person whom he was speaking to was not of his league even though he was doing the wrong thing, William was still clam in putting the logic forth to Senator Riley.
