Answer:

Since ABCD is a parallelogram, and we know that opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal. = AB =CD but, AB = BX i.e.,

CD= BX--------(i)

Now, In triangle XOB and DOC, angle BOX = COD (vert. opp. agl.) angle OBX= OCD (alt. int. agl.)

BX= CD [using (i) ]

By AAS, both the triangles are congruent.

So, by cpct, BO = OC and, OX = OD.

HENCE PROVED.
