= 8 cm

We know that the area of the regular hexagon


= (3 √(3) )/(2) {a}^(3)


= (3 √(3) )/(2) {8}^(2)


= (3 √(3) )/(2) * 64


= 96 √(3) \: \: {cm}^(2)
