Here r = radius of the circle

Area of the circular bed = π(20)²

= 400π square meter

Radius of the larger circle = Radius of the flower bed + width of the sidewalk

= 20 + 3

= 23 m

Area of the larger circle = π(23)²

= 529π m²

Area of the circular sidewalk = Area of the larger circle - Area of the flower bed

= 529π - 400π

= 129π

= 129(3.14)

= 405.06 square meters
