Answer:

g(x) = -(x + 3)^2 - 1

Explanation:

g(x) has a peak, and goes down on both sides, it needs a negative sign. From the vertex, when x increases by 1, y decreases by 1, and when x increases by another 1, y decreases by 3. a = -1. The function is 3 units to the left and 1 unit down. That will make h = -3 and k = -1 to the function g(x) = a(x - h)^2 + k.

Plug the values in to get the answer.
