I listen to my favorite genres of music to both motivate myself and stay focused. Many people say that it`s a distraction, but it`s been scientifically proven that listening to songs with lyrics make it easier for some people to write more fluently because they incorporate certain words in the lyrics.

Aside from science, music just makes me happy in general, especially because I am a musician myself. There are so many options I can pick from to fit my mood to either cheer me up, calm me down, and anything between!
