Equation y=ax-4 passes through (4,5). find the value of a

boi this is so easy u just plug in the numbers. (x,y)
(4,5)
so u plug in those numbers in the equation. which would be
5=(a)4-4
then u make a by it self to get the answer.
so you first subtract 4 on both sides.
You would get
5=(a)4-4
-4 -4
—————
1=(a)4

then u would divide the other 4 on both sides cause keep in mind u want to get the a by it self.
1=(a)4
/ /
4 4
———-
.25=A
