Similarities between Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment

Answer:

First the obvious one, it made the ownership of slaves illegal. While the Emancipation proclamation was an executive order that only covered 10 states, it was still similar to the 13th amendment because it followed the same general concept.

Another similarity was that previous or current slaves, were all to be considered free and were considered not slaves.
