Explanation:

take a as the angle. x = 1.5 radians

Area of Sector in the circle(including shaded region)

= (1)/(2)r {}^(2) x \\ = (1)/(2) (10) {}^(2) (1.5) \\ = 75units {}^(2)

Area of Triangle =

(1)/(2) r {}^(2) \sin(x) \\ = (1)/(2) (10) {}^(2) \sin(1.5) \\ = 49.87475units {}^(2)

Area of shaded region = Area of Sector in Circle - Area of Triangle

= 75 - 49.87475 \\ = 25.12525units {}^(2)
