The pattern of this sequence is : From a term, we minus 6 to get to the next term

So on and so on.

The difference between 107 and -61 is : 107 - (-61) = 168

Everytime we go to the next term, we get 6 units closer to -61

So, -61 will be the 168 : 6 = 28th term of this arithmetic sequence.
