Two trains are moving towards each other on parallel tracks, both going at a constant rate of 60km/h. A passenger sitting in one of the trains noticed that the other train passed him completely in six seconds. What is the length of passing train in meters?

I really need help on this

Answer:

200 m

Explanation:

v = 60 km/h *(1000m)/(1km)*(1h)/(3600sec)}=(60)/(3.6)m/s

For the passenger, the other train moves at a rate of 2v

Time t = 6 sec

The length = (2v) x t =
2*(60)/(3.6)* 6=200 m
