Write the equation of a line perpendicular to y= -x + 4 and that passes through point (-5,-4) in slope intercept form.​

Perpendicular has reciprocal and opposite sign slope
Y = -x + 4, the slope is this is -1
Opposite sign and reciprocal: 1
Y = 1x + b
Plug in point
-4 = -5 + b, b = 1
Solution: y = x + 1
