Given:

A figure of a right angle triangle.

To find:

The value of x to the nearest hundredth.

Solution:

In a right angle triangle,

\tan \theta=(Opposite)/(Adjacent)

In the given triangle,

\tan 62^\circ=(x)/(35)

1.8807=(x)/(35)

1.88073* 35=x

65.82555=x

Approx the value to the nearest hundredth (two decimal place).

x\approx 65.83

Therefore, the value of x is 65.83 units.
